Pinnochio, one of the most famous story, is my favorite story since I was a kid.
The modern and cheerful fonts are used for Pinnochio character
and the old-school classic font is used for Geppeto

This is the assignment from prototype class. We could do anything we were interested in.
I chose makeup to be my inspiration due to my daily routine that always involved it.
I was obsessed with cosmetics because I had bad skin and it helped me with my self-confidence.
Women don't really buy cosmetics but they actually buy the confidence. Makeup can give confidence that comes with beauty. Moreover, women with makeup on nowadays all look similar because they follow the same styles. Mask can change the appearance of people who wear it in a short time. Therefore, I decide to make the masks that represent confidence when makeup is put on. I choose to make it as the mass products because women look similar to others like they are wearing the
"same mask"
There are 4 available styles, Korean style, Japanese style, Western style, and Chinese style.
You can choose any styles of confidence you desire.

☆Over protected
It is my another assignment in the second year, "word and image". I finally chose the theme of protection. I noticed how people give identification to their belongings which are valuable mass products. They put their stuffs in the preferable protection such as the bumpers without knowing the damage they could cause. Some products are designed to perfectly be used without any protection. I came to the keyword " Intend to protect but actually cause damages". Then I thought of the relationship between parents and their children because children usually think that their parents are over protective. Eventually, some will grow up to be spoiled brats or even worse pushing their parents away. The protection could work the other way around.
I did the painting on the canvas with oil color first, then took photo and rearranged with Photoshop.
☆Wow!
This is my early stop-motion work I did during the second year combining media class for the assignment in university. Though it is not the best out there, I am proud of it since it was my first try on After Effect and I like it. I knew I still had a lot to learn and it was my beginning.
